Annual Workshop 2002

Announcement Location Program Directions


This is a first announcement of and invitation to the comprehensive annual workshop 2002 of our program like the one in 2001 which took place in Ascona, Switzerland and which is supposed to bring together all members and partners of the program. This year's workshop will be held

October 9 (arrival) until October 12

on the beautiful island of

Hiddensee

which lies in the Baltic Sea close to the north German coast.

All students and postdocs in the program are asked to give a 30 minute lecture. In addition there will be 8-10 40 minute lectures by faculty members of the program and its partners.

Please note: the workshop will take place directly after the Combinatorics meeting in Honour of Walter Deuber's 60th Birthday at Humboldt University in Berlin. There will be a bus to go from Berlin to Hiddensee on October 9. The bus will leave at 12 noon in front of the

Mathematics Department of TU Berlin,
Strasse des 17. Juni 136

which is in walking distance (15 min) from the train station Zoologischer Garten (you may also take the subway to station Ernst-Reuter-Platz).
