On founding of Open Source Projects
In this project I'm examining the reasons for founding Open Source Software projects.
Problem Definition
Why are people interesseted in working for free? This question was answered by different other surverys. (exp. FLOSS). But why are projects funded? Why started someone or for exp. a company a project?

- historical view at ten famous Open Source Projects about their founding
- examine hundred projects from the debian project and sourceforge
- Email interview these selected projects
- make a suggestion about the reasons
