Content: This seminar will give deeper insights into various aspects of mobile communications. The focus will be on ad-hoc networking (Do we really need it? What is new?) and data transmission over 3G and 4G networks (UMTS and beyond). Further topics and ideas from students are welcome!
Criteria for successful participation: Attending the seminary actively, paper of minimum 15 pages covering the selected topic, oral presentation of approx. 45 minutes
Participants: all set - subscription phase is over!
Prerequisites: basic knowledge in Internet technologies and computer networks, Vordiplom
Literature: will be handed out plus digging into the Internet on your own

Location: The seminar will take place in the multimedia room K40, Takustr. 9.
I know that the schedule sounds restrictive: all deadlines are firm and cannot be shifted (otherwise the schedule collapses). Long term experience shows that without firm deadlines students tend to shift work load... Thus, as a final consequence: missing a deadline means no credits for the course!
