about these examples

The examples in this package illustrate how to access JSPs and Servlets from a mobile client using the Nokia WAP Server as a WAP gateway. The examples demonstrate how to generate dynamic Wireless Markup Language (WML) content, serve up static WML documents, as well as use the Nokia WAP Server to convert HTML documents to WML documents. Detailed instructions for building and running the examples are included on the example pages.

Date example: Demonstrates generating dynamic WML documents. This example modifies ShowDate.jsp from the JSP examples to generate a WML document.
Phone book example: Demonstrate serving up a static WML document, making interactive requests to a servlet from a mobile client, and using the Nokia WAP Server to convert HMTL documents to WML.
