Hello Everyone !
Here are a few pictures about what we can see and do together next summer in Berlin, a video we made to introduce you to our computer science department as well as some Power-Point slides describing the different working groups.
The pictures each have a number, so when we tell you about the sights of Berlin during the conference you can follow the pictures on this page.

A very sad part of our history is the Third Reich when Germany was ruled by the Nazi dictaturship. Many museum, e.g. the new Jewish museum you can see above, give you an opportunity to learn about this time.

Today, Jewish people can live in Berlin like everyone else, in fact the main Synagoge is one of our most precious sights!
But there's more than politics and history ...
For example, shopping and culture in the city center.
You will find that there are actually almoust 3 city centers in Berlin:

We have kept some habits we 'imported' from China like drinking Chinese green tea in our bamboo garden. Some of us have started to take Chines lessons from our Chinese student collegues. Some times we all meet and try to cook Chinese dishes - but let's face it, it's not the same :( |
Anyway, we will never forget the reat time we had in China and we sincerely hope and will do our best that you will enjoy coming to Berlin just as much!!!
