Floater and Gotsman (1999) have given a morphing method between two triangulations that have the same combinatorial structure, based on directed Tutte embeddings.

The thesis investigates the freedom in choosing the starting weights, how it can be used for streamlining the morph, various ways to shorten the morphing path, and numerical aspects of solving the system of linear equating that arises.
